Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join their Service Operations Team. This Parts Program Manager will be responsible for managing active and future programs and/or projects with Service Planning and Service Distribution. This role will ensure the success of new initiatives with these groups by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to meet all necessary requirements and drive adoption in the field upon completion.
The Service Operations Team is in place to provide an exceptional experience even in unexpected situations. We focus on building and developing relationships with our field parts teams and other internal departments, such as supply chain and IT, to achieve the highest level of service for our owners while furthering Tesla’s mission.
- Develop a great relationship with the Service Planning org and work directly with them on any initiatives related to increasing Parts Success or driving down cost to serve
- Develop a great relationship with the Service Distribution org and work directly with them on any initiatives related to increasing Parts Success or driving down cost to serve
- Lead all efforts for headcount/waterline/productivity planning for Service Parts Operations
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and maintain a roadmap of all initiatives
- Coordinate resources, provide clear direction and timelines for deliverables, and delegate tasks across the team
- Collaborate with parts advisors in the field to identify supply chain and process constraints and collaborating with the appropriate teams to resolve
- Understand and influence strategic goals, customer needs, and business objectives while working with subject matter experts to create and implement standardization in the field
- 10+ years’ experience driving strategic programs for supply chain/parts management. Automotive experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the strategic implementation of large-scale cross functional projects
- Ability to understand and communicate needs of all stakeholders including technical teams to drive alignment and successfully achieve strategic goals
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity
- Maintain highly organized project plans and prepare presentations for varying audiences
- Exhibit excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism
- Proficient with SQL, Python, and Tableau
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$68,000 - $222,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
