The PMO Squad is looking for an ITSM Program Manager. In addition to standard IT Program Management experience, this person should be experienced in IT Operations, understand the complex nuances of end-user computing, ITSM, ITIL, Major Incident Management and business enablement tools such as MS O365.
Contract: 6-months (possible extension and/or C2H opportunity)
Location: Remote (candidates must reside in within the U.S.)
Pay: $75-$85/hr.
Knowledge / Experience Requirements:
- Proficient in managing end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices; experience with desktop deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Skill in communicating clearly and timely to end-users during system changes or outages; experience in managing user expectations and providing efficient support channels.
- Familiarity with and management of various operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), including mobile operating systems (iOS, Android).
- Experience in overseeing the deployment and maintenance of business-critical applications.
- Skill in managing software updates and patches to ensure a secure and stable environment.
- Experience in implementing and managing ticketing systems for efficient issue resolution; familiarity with help desk operations and best practices.
- Proficiency in implementing and utilizing system monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance; experience in proactive system management to identify and address potential issues.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and procedures; experience in collaborating with security teams to implement and monitor security measures.
- Experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) including enforcement of security policies and implementing and managing MDM solutions.
- Experience supporting operational workloads for AWS Cloud; ability to assist and oversee building of AWS Workspaces product offering.
- Experience in developing and implementing end-user training programs; ability to create training materials for new technologies and updates.
- 8+ years' experience in technical / IT program management.
Tools/Skills:
- Proficiency in collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and other tools; ability to optimize these platforms for effective communication and collaboration.
- Proficiency in one or more PPM tools such as MS Project, SmartSheets, Jira, Sharepoint, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate status and reports throughout all levels of an organization including c-suite.
- Project management, ITIL, and/or AWS certification(s) strongly preferred.
