Job Title: Program Manager / Commercial Renewable Energy Development

Reports To: Executive & Asset Management Team

Job Overview

11 Million Acres (11MA) aims to make Renewable Energy more affordable and accessible to commercial clients. As a Program Manager, you will have an immediate impact on leading the installation of roof-mounted solar and ground-mount energy storage systems at 300+ commercial retail locations in California.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, be dynamic and comfortable multitasking, and demonstrate leadership, representing the development team and asset owners.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Oversee all aspects of project delivery for projects and provide program updates to the 11MA development team and partners.
• Lead program implementation plan development, working with the development team on project delivery timelines, lead times, partners, and resources.
• Develop program management processes, resources, and people.
• Negotiate with strategic vendors, contractors, and distribution partners to meet project budgets and timelines.
• Perform quality assurance visits to job sites throughout California.
• Oversee sourcing efforts to identify, engage, and onboard contractors to meet program needs.
• Understand the plans and specifications for each project and communicate any discrepancies or potential issues with the engineering and development team.
• Attend project kick-off and review meetings on the development team's behalf, interfacing with vendors and contractors' representatives.
• Lead all project walks, including punch, final inspections, and closeout.

• Dynamic and comfortable multitasking across various technical and business disciplines
• Resilient when presented with challenges, understanding problems, adapting, and implementing solutions
• California-based; ability to visit sites throughout California
• Must have the ability to travel and a valid driver's license
• Fluency in Microsoft Office and/or GSuite (Google) software platforms

Notable Qualifications (Not Required)

• Experience developing Renewable Energy projects (solar, energy storage systems, microgrids, wind, etc.)
• Direct experience managing the interconnection application and approval process
• Experience with construction or real estate development
• Experience operating multiple restaurants or grocery stores

Salary & Benefits

Starting salary: $160,000 - $180,000, depending on experience
