Program Manager

You will be overseeing talented IT Project Managers with multiple workstreams and working to implement best practices with JIRA. The Project Managers you will be overseeing are working in the IT manufacturing area of a large Pharma company and are working in Integrations, Data Integrity, and Implementations. Experience with manufacturing and supply chain will be helpful.

Our client is in the midst of an agile transformation and some areas are further along than others. We are looking for strong experience with Waterfall and Agile.

Rates quoted are for hourly, salaried roles also available.

No sponsorship is available, and Consultants must be US Base and willing to work Central Time Zone hours.

Requirements:

• Strong JIRA experience; Jira dashboard development; deep knowledge of Jira best practices and limitations; deliver critical data to be synthesized into management reporting
• Ideal Candidate has at least 5-7 years of experience as an IT Program Manager leading complex, enterprise projects or programs.
• Strong experience with Project Financials is required as you will be working with the approved capital expenditures and will be required to establish a good financial plan along with tracking actual vs. projected costs.
• Team collaboration skills – able to influence a team in partnership with management to achieve project goals
• Communication skills – must be an effective, strong communicator
• Self motivated – able to initiate and drive project discussions and goals independently with minimal direction and limited management oversight
• Strong critical thinking skills – able to envision and articulate the big picture
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• PMP certificate (PMI) or other Project Management Certification required
