This role is key to ensure adherence to plan for our strategic development projects and to provide support for the Montreal and Toronto Bombardier offices. In your role, you will

  • Manage one of our key Avionics suppliers to ensure adherence to plan to ongoing strategic development projects
  • Support the Montreal and Toronto offices in planning and prioritizing scope and schedule and managing budget as they relate to our key Avionic supplier
  • Prepare reports & participate in Governance reviews that are held at various levels of the organization
  • Work in close partnership with various stakeholders in solving and harmonizing complex business problems to Program Issues
  • Identify and report on potential problems, risks and opportunities. Lead risk mitigation planning and execution.
  • Provide on-site support at the supplier's U.S. sites as necessary

As our ideal candidate
As our ideal candidate,
  • You have between 5 and 12 years of experience in Avionics systems product development
  • You hold a university degree in a related field (Engineering, or equivalent)
  • You have a PMI accreditation and have managed projects/programs using its processes and principles
  • You have sound aircraft technical and certification process knowledge
  • You have excellent personal organization, time-management, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail, self-motivation & commitment to objectives and responsibilities
  • You are results-oriented with natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously in a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • You are proficient with all MS Office products
  • You are able & willing to travel to the U.S. to work at the supplier facilities
