To prepare, collate, assess, record and maintain accurate configuration data associated with aircraft on AW609 program. To provide support and deliverables to ensure that LHD internal departments and its suppliers apply a satisfactory level of Configuration Management (CM) to their products.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track change request within the LHD SAP change tool
- Prepare Change Requests and proposals for consideration at the Configuration Review Boards
- Co-ordinate the aircraft build change control and Implementation meetings
- Assist in the update and maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting Records and CM Metrics data associated with Configuration Management
- Maintain Change board action logs
- Produce and maintain monthly KPI’s as request by the PMO
- Prepare and co-ordinate timely submissions of Change Proposal Forms to the Customer for approval
- Provide CM technical support to LHD functional areas, to control the modification state of the product and its support equipment
- Initiation, co-ordination and submission of Vendor changes proposals, both to / from Suppliers / Customer
- Assist with the preparation of program deliverables, liaising with Engineering, Operations, training and ILS departments etc.
Qualifications:
- Masters’ degree in Engineering or equivalent related experience in Technical matters
- Knowledge of aircraft configuration and configuration management process and principles
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Team working skills
