The Program and Events Manager will work with the management staff of Halidom Eatery to promote, plan, and execute special events. Halidom Eatery will host 11 local food vendors and will staff one bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as maintain all facilities management operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary experiences, excellent organizational skills, and a knack for creating memorable events. This role involves coordinating and executing a variety of programming and Events to enhance the overall dining experience for our patrons.

Compensation
$70,000.00 - $82,000.00+/yr DOE + event based commissions + full benefits options and PTO
Schedule- Hybrid
This is a salaried, hybrid position. Attendance requirements will vary based upon operating hours and Events. Employee is expected to work at least 40 hours a week, with at least 24 hours on-site at Halidom Eatery. Candidate is expected to be on site for all private events as well as for the first (3) iterations of repeat programming/activations in the food hall.
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, including but not limited to themed dinners, cooking classes, food festivals, live entertainment, and community outreach programs
- Collaborate with food stall operators, vendors, and management team to ensure seamless event execution
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue setup, staffing, catering, and guest communication
Programming Development
- Develop and implement a programming calendar that aligns with the restaurant or food hall's brand and target audience
- Identify and explore new and innovative programming ideas to keep the venue dynamic and appealing to a diverse clientele
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in programming
Collaboration and Relationship Building
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, culinary, and operations, to ensure alignment and synergy in programming and event initiatives
- Foster strong relationships with local influencers, community organizations, and businesses to enhance the venue's presence in the community
Marketing & Promotion
- Work closely with the PR/marketing team to create promotional materials for events and programming
- Implement strategies to effectively market events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and local partnerships
Non-Essential Job Functions:
1. Provide coverage for employees during breaks or period of high traffic including: bartending, bussing, serving, stocking, cleaning
2. Administrative tasks as assigned
- Experience managing event planning and operations in a high-volume food and beverage environment
- Experience with social media management
- People management skills; team leadership
- Computer and internet savvy; experience with online and social media marketing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Familiar with current trends in culinary, events, and social media industries
- TIPS certified or ability to obtain
