The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) is looking for a Program Analyst to join their team in the Office of Compulsive and Problem Gambling. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Program Analyst, you will use your planning and development experience to perform analytical, planning, developing, and monitoring duties related to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board’s (PGCB) Compulsive and Problem Gambling Self Exclusion Program. This includes all forms of gaming, including but not limited to casinos, sports wagering, video gaming terminals (VGTs), interactive and fantasy gaming. Key duties include:
Administering, coordinates, and maintains the self-exclusion program for PGCB independently or in conjunction with other PGCB employees located at casinos or regional offices.
Developing, provides and/or modifies training and training manuals for PGCB employees on the self-exclusion program and processes.
Reviewing and maintaining licensee Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plans, including making recommendations to the Director on the approval/rejection of licensee submissions.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must telework within Pennsylvania, and have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of work experience in a professional office setting including one year of program planning, developing, and monitoring experience of the same; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
You must have knowledge of the techniques of planning, composing, and editing informational materials.
You must have knowledge of English language usage and composition.
You must have knowledge of effective public relations techniques and procedures.
You must have knowledge of the various forms of media including social media.
You must have ability to prepare and edit all types of copy.
You must have ability to operate various audio-visual equipment and technologies.
You must have ability to conduct research and analyze and evaluate written materials.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- A Bachelors degree with an emphasis in humanities.
Legal Requirements:- Employment is contingent upon the completion of a Personal History Questionnaire with a thorough background investigation, including drug screening and the subsequent review and approval by the Board.
