Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Days and times may vary based on student and college needs.  May require some evening and weekend week.

Job Summary and Description

Play a crucial role in student success by working with students to identify their academic needs and provide personalized tutoring sessions.

Reports to: Director of the Academic Success Centers.

 Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education (60 hours) including successful completion of college-level coursework in the related field.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 1 year of tutoring, teaching or directly related experience.
  • Experience working with a diverse population of students with varying backgrounds, education, and socio-economic characteristics.
  • Strong math background.  These positions will serve as embedded tutors in several math courses.
