The Residential Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the customer’s home and its surrounds (see below). To be successful as a Residential Cleaner, you should have great stamina, a positive attitude, and dedication to excellence. Top-notch candidates should display strength, efficiency, attention to detail and respect for the home and its inhabitants.
Residential Cleaner Requirements:
- High School diploma or similar.
- Driver’s license and current car insurance.
- Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand, sit, and stoop for long periods.
- Polite disposition.

Primary Responsibilities
Cleaners will use the Housekeeping Unlimited cleaning supplies and procedures to clean the home of each client, following the client detail sheet for that home. That cleaning includes but is not limited to:
- Clean houses with a variety of chemicals and disinfectants.
- Any cleaning tasks outlined on the detail sheet or requested by the client.
- Cobweb ceiling areas, vents, walls and fans
- Scrub showers and tubs.
- Clean and disinfect vanities and sinks.
- Clean toilets with toilet brush and chemicals.
- Scrub stains, mold, and mildew from surfaces.
- Wash bathroom floors on hands and knees
- Clean and dust blinds and window treatments.
- Clean cabinets, countertops and backsplashes
- Wipe down and shine appliances.
- Wash dishes and put dishes away in cupboards.
- Wash baseboards and walls.
- Vacuum hardwood floors and carpet.
- Dust mop and mop floors.
- Sweep up debris.
- Vacuum upholstered furniture.
- Dust tables, wood surfaces, and shelves.
- Empty wastebaskets and take out trash.
- Clean up after pets.
- Wash dry/fold soiled linens.
- Sweep porches and garages.
- Place fresh linens on bed.
- Polish silver.
- Replace burned out light bulbs.
- Disinfect equipment and supplies.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
