Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clearly define position requirements and recruiting Ensure search requests are clearly defined to include key responsibilities, requirements, reporting structure, compensation, and interview process
- Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and measure candidates against a specific job profile
- Recommend candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews; handle disposition of both external and internal candidates
- Provide timely progress updates on prospecting, interview, and placement activity with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process
- Track hiring activity, including job posting, hiring decisions, and closing position vacancies
- Effectively negotiate and communicate offers to selected candidates
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment and the interviewing process, including pre and post hire employment documentation
- Ensure smooth transition post-hire and assess hiring manager and new hire satisfaction
- Facilitate Summer Intern Program, including, but not limited to, University career fair registration and attendance, coordinate interviews, plan summer calendar of events, etc.
- Assist the HR department with other human resources areas such as benefits administration, employee relations and activity planning, and employee customer service
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
Experience:
- Three to five years of experience in professional corporate recruiting
