Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clearly define position requirements and recruiting Ensure search requests are clearly defined to include key responsibilities, requirements, reporting structure, compensation, and interview process
• Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and measure candidates against a specific job profile
• Recommend candidates to hiring managers for in-person interviews; handle disposition of both external and internal candidates
• Provide timely progress updates on prospecting, interview, and placement activity with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process
• Track hiring activity, including job posting, hiring decisions, and closing position vacancies
• Effectively negotiate and communicate offers to selected candidates
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment and the interviewing process, including pre and post hire employment documentation
• Ensure smooth transition post-hire and assess hiring manager and new hire satisfaction
• Facilitate Summer Intern Program, including, but not limited to, University career fair registration and attendance, coordinate interviews, plan summer calendar of events, etc.
• Assist the HR department with other human resources areas such as benefits administration, employee relations and activity planning, and employee customer service
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree required

Experience:

• Three to five years of experience in professional corporate recruiting
