Job Summary
The Professional Learning Specialist should provide exceptional training and support in all 806 Technologies software and Professional Learning offerings. The Professional Learning Specialist should prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining the outstanding level of service our clients expect from 806 Technologies.

Essential Job Functions
- Plan, prepare and conduct software training and Professional Learning for Local Education Agencies (LEA) via webinar or in person.
- Use working knowledge of school improvement processes to support customers’ development, implementation, and evaluation of improvement plans.
- Support customers through phone calls, emails, and Zoom meetings.
- Effectively foster and build relationships with customers.
- Quickly develop professional skills appropriate to job assignment including learning our software and staying proficient as software updates occur.
- Use working knowledge of ESSA laws and regulations to support federal programs’ customers.
- Identify, research, and communicate the state education laws and ESSA laws that apply to our software for 806 Technologies’ customers.
- Occasionally travel to work at and attend conferences and/or provide onsite training.

- Interact in a tactful, diplomatic, and professional, manner with customer/clients, supervisors, and co-workers to provide a safe, efficient, and positive experience which ensures customer/client retention and quality service.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Must reside in California
- Master’s Degree in Education Administration, or related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Access, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
- Proficiency in virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams, Google Meets, Slack) preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years in school district administration role(s).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication formats.
- Must be proactive, possess a high degree of initiative, and eagerness to learn/adapt.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with a high commitment to quality.

Working Conditions
Monday-Friday, remote setting. Some travel will be required.
Cognitive and Physical Demands
- Daily/majority of the non-training/traveling day: sitting, computer work, screen time, keyboarding, typing, wrist flexing/extension and other repetitive movements.
- As needed: Training/conference activities require long periods of standing and may involve setup/tear down activities. Traveling requires safe operation of vehicle, standing, and sitting which varies based on mode of travel.
- Daily/consistent: Use of professional judgment in alignment with 806 Technologies values and policies, ability to communicate effectively verbally and written, translate high level instructions into an executable process flow, and to complete medium to large projects with minimal assistance and supervision
- Frequently: Learning new software applications and recalling important processes
- Occasionally: kneeling, standing, reaching, twisting, grasping, and lifting (up to 20 pounds).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
