Professional In-Home Caregiver Needed Immediately-New Oxford!!!

We are in need of an experienced, dependable, caregiver to care for an 81-year-old gentleman who lives in New Oxford in the Brethren home village with his wife IMMEDIATELY! His primary diagnosis in Parkinson’s Disease. He gets around currently in a wheelchair. This position is ideal for someone looking for a part-time opportunity. Currently, this position is five days a week, M-F 9 am-1 pm or 10am-2 pm (we are in the process of negotiating that time). These hours may increase in the near future, based on the increased need for care. This client is expected to be released from a rehab facility on 2/26/24. We are growing fast and there are many exciting opportunities for well-qualified Caregivers, HHA’s, CNA's, and Senior Companions. Ideal candidates will have their own vehicle and cell phone. Caregivers, HHA’s, CNA's and Senior Companions must also speak English as well; have a clean arrest record and a good driving record. Level 2 state background checks will be provided to all potential applicants.

Duties will include assisting with personal care, grooming, dressing, light exercise, companionship, and activities. The client has a vehicle for any transport needs for appointments or errands. Very light housekeeping (if any). Back-up care (or respite) services: providing other caregivers a break.

Our pay scale is in the top 10% in the area. We also offer bonuses that other companies do not.

Salary: $14 to $16.00 /hour (depending on experience)
