Lifetime Veterinary Center is looking to hire a passionate, talented professional groomer/stylist to work with our exceptional team in a fun upscale environment. A minimum of 2 years’ experience required.

NDGAA, ISCA or IPG certification is preferred. We are a state of the art AAHA certified veterinary practice in beautiful Jupiter, Florida. We have a great, fun work environment. All of our groomers have been with us for over 10-years.

We are looking for full or part-time experienced groomers to provide exceptional, safe grooming services to our clients. Lifetime Veterinary Center groomers are responsible for providing pet quality and breed standard cuts, sufficient scissoring techniques, bathing, drying, fluffing, comb outs etc. Candidates must provide their own tools of the trade and be current on industry trends.

Pay is commission plus tips. Must have a great work ethic, be organized and reliable. A customer service-oriented team player is a must.

Duties:
- Provide grooming services to dogs.
- Perform bathing, brushing, and hair trimming to maintain the pet's appearance and hygiene.
- Clip nails and clean ears to ensure the pet's overall health and well-being.
- Assess the pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming techniques or treatments.
- Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and comfort during the grooming process.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and work area.
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences.

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pet care techniques, including grooming practices for different breeds and species.
- Ability to handle animals with patience, compassion, and confidence.
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and groomer.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and understand their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting larger dogs onto grooming tables).
- Experience in pet sitting or animal care is beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures is an advantage.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
