Must be a student attending Abilene Christian University
Familiar with the use of printing, copy and scanning
Proficient in Microsoft Office software tools, E-Mail, and web browsers
Self-sufficient and customer service oriented
Be organized, efficient, and show good time management skills
Demonstrate high attention to detail and follow instructions
Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities accordingly
Support of the mission and vision of Abilene Christian University and the College of Business Administration
Christian commitment consistent with the ACU mission and the rules of ACU's Student Handbook
B. Personal
Preference to COBA student
Must be able to handle confidential information
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Neat professional appearance
C. Physical Demands
Be able to lift 25-30 pounds
Be able to sit for long periods of time
Position Description/ Job Duties Position Description/Job Duties
This position will work with the COBA Student Development Team
Assists the Professional Development and Internship Director with: scheduling and meeting with students to assess level of Professional Development coaching needs, assisting with workshop development for student organizations and various classes, reviewing alumni and employer requests for student internship and employment opportunities, scheduling and assisting with alumni and employer events, and acts as liaison between student organizations and Student Development team to ensure needs are met.
Applicant should have working knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word and Excel
Other tasks including but not limited to: data entry, special projects, filing and assisting others in the office.
Applicant should be able to assist with COBA events as needed.
Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Must take initiative and communicate well with the team and supervisor
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Must be reliable, organized, extreme attention to detail, team player, collaborative, and have a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Preferred Availability 10-15, Monday-Thursday from 8am-5pm-actual hours are flexible depending on student's schedule; occasional weekend and evening. Additional Information
