The Production Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and operating equipment to ensure optimal levels of efficiency and quality in production.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and operating production equipment accurately
- Executing equipment changeovers smoothly
- Performing preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and reduce downtime
- Reporting emergency repair needs and documenting future repair requirements
- Analyzing and identifying the root cause of equipment downtime
- Supporting the Team Lead in work cell operations
- Training new team members on specific duties and machine safety
- Reading and following ingredient sheets for mixing purposes
- Organizing and inputting paperwork for production runs
- Serving as the go-to person for HACCP, SSOP, and SQF information
- Coordinating equipment improvements with Maintenance and Process Teams
- Completing end-of-day paperwork
- Troubleshooting machine issues and finding solutions
- Contributing to the creation and development of programs, processes, and training criteria.
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
- At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing
- Proficiency in operating HMI, PLC, and enclosed systems
- Experience with homogenizers and pasteurization is a definite plus!
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Requirements
MUST have
1+ year food manufacturing experience.
Experience in operating HMI, PLC and enclosed systems.
Homogenizer and pasteurization operating experience is a plus!
Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.
**MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK, READ, WRITE ENGLISH.
