Title: Production Team Member
Reports to: Manager
Department: Production
Summary:
The Production Team Member role involves executing assembly within a dynamic and fast-paced automotive seat systems sequence production environment. This multi-step process requires the use of various tools and equipment. Support plant KPI’s, safety, quality, and UPH!
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Upholding company practices and policies in areas such as Safety, Standards of Conduct, Quality, Performance, and Communication.
- Adhering to processes and procedures associated with the Production Department for seat production.
- Utilizing hand tools, power tools, fixtures, jigs for assembly and material handling.
- Assembling metal, foam, fabric/leather, and electronic components using diverse tools and fixtures.
- Reading, interpreting, and following Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) to ensure precise execution.
- Maintaining a consistent work pace, utilizing time effectively, and completing tasks within designated timeframes.
- Undertaking various operational tasks and workstations to maintain a positive flow of work within the Production Department.
- Handling materials as required to maintain inventory or facilitate the production process.
- Conducting quality checks, identifying defective parts, and ensuring production meets specifications and standards.
- Complying with Quality policies and standards, including ISO 9001, TS16949, IATF16949.
- Adhering to 5S principles for a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborating with Team Members, leaders, and other Hyundai Transys members.
- Participating in required training sessions.
- Demonstrating flexibility to support continuous improvement activities for personal and company growth.
- Performing other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 1+ year of assembly experience (not required).
- Previous relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting is advantageous.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Heavy walking and standing throughout the shift

- Availability for extended hours, overtime, and/or weekends
