Job Description - Finisher – 1st Shift

As a Finisher for YL you will part of a three-person team that prints and prepares food labels for shipment to our customers. As a new Team Member, two other members of your team (the press Operator and Helper) will mentor you in the printing of labels. Finishers are responsible for operating machinery and equipment that process a large roll of labels into individual rolls per our customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Have mechanical aptitude and experience working with machinery, equipment and hand tools.
• Be our "last line of defense" with your great attention to detail.
• Assist in setting up each job in accordance with our “One Best Way” practices.
• Set up finishing machinery per customer requirements.
• Slit master rolls into finished rolls per customer requirements.
• 5S of work area on a daily basis.
• Additional duties as directed by the shift supervisor.

Starting Wage is $22.50/hour:

We offer a highly competitive pay scale that gives Team Members the ability to "earn more when you learn more." During a new Team Member's initial training period they will earn two $0.25/hour raises as they show competency in their role. Team members then have the ability to earn additional pay increases, if they choose to take advantage of training opportunities that prepare them for their next promotion.

Shift Differential $2.50/hour

At Yerecic Label we understand the challenges of some shifts, therefore we provide a $2.50 per hour shift differential on top of our already competitive starting wage.

Yerecic Label is currently hiring for 1st shift openings, our shift times are:

• 1st shift: 6 AM – 2:30 PM
• 3rd shift: 10 PM – 6:30 AM (Shift differential applies)

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• A high school diploma.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to work all three shifts is preferred.
• Attention to detail and good mathematical skills.
• Relevant Printing Experience (Preferred)

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• The Team Member is required to stand for their entire shift, bending and squatting is frequent as well.
• While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is exposed to moving mechanical parts and must have physical dexterity to use hand tools.
• Repetitive actions that entail use of fingers, hands, arms and legs such as bending, stooping and lifting are required.
• Regular requirements of safely lifting, pushing, pulling up to 40 lbs and on occasion 55-60 lbs.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, inspect parts and identify color is also required.
• We cannot accommodate individuals with any level of color blindness.

Pre-Employment Testing:
