Production Support Specialist - B2B (Arkansas)
We are looking for a focused and talented Professional dedicated to customer service with a strong background in digital and conventional printing. This effort will focus on recommending hardware, software, and/or professional services / consulting solutions) to Data Center, Central Reprographics Departments and Commercial Printing facilities.
Datamax of Arkansas provides a) sales and technical training on black & white and color graphics technology, b) access to CRM database in which the targeted account information is readily available, c) technical, managerial, and even peer-level support at the point of sale, d) administrative support with proposal development and order coordination, e) a highly professional work environment, and f) a present, engaged executive staff.
A Typical Daily Activities will include:
- Building rapport with customers and prospects,
- Gaining an understanding of the client's current business environment - both generally and specifically from a Business Process and Strategic Technology standpoint,
- Uncovering needs, challenges, and/or opportunities,
- Keeping information current in the CRM,
- Qualifying print and software workflow activities,
- Evaluating print file accuracy and color correctness,
- Proposing and/or demonstrating solutions,
- Re-qualifying and re-addressing needs, challenges and/or opportunities,
- Earning the business,
- Finalizing the details,
- Set-up and Training end users on conceived workflow, and
- Account management ensuring customer satisfaction – ongoing.

Requirements:
- Experience and understanding of “Print on Demand” and the most current digital technologies that pertain to data center and reprographics environments,
- Capable of understanding and evaluating complex software workflows,
- An understanding of Color Theory and CMYK / RGB processes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills,
- Proficient working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, process color, variable data print applications and file conversion tools,
- A working understanding of the graphic design and layout process along with organizational skills to manage implementations,
- Knowledge of Network communications is a great asset to this position,
- Exposure to the Arkansas business to business sales marketplace is a plus.
