Responsibilities:
Plans and schedules production orders based on established priorities and the availability of required materials and capacity
Computes amount of material required to complete job orders
Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping date according to sales forecasts and customer orders
Coordinates with the manufacturing floor to actively manage the production schedule
Assembles work order packets complete with work order router, completion dates, and instructions for subsequent operations
Follows and audits production orders through the production process to ensure the proper schedule is followed
Monitors manufacturing system transactions for accuracy and works with leaders to correct discrepancies and eliminate the fundamental causes of the problems
Coordinates material delivery with inventory to support manufacturing schedule. May examine material delivered to production to verify conformance to specifications
Complies records such as material inventory, in process production reports, and status and location of materials
Contacts Team Leads and Department Supervisors relative to availability of materials, delays, changing orders and handling problems in order to meet the production plan
Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters scheduled to meet unforeseen conditions

Put together work order packets
Scanning work orders into doc-lib
Pull Due to Ship for Inventory
Review in/out inventory from shipping and transfer parts to locations
Review overage inventory from shipping and put on shelf
Pull material from inventory for work orders and delivery to production floor
Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED Experience
2 years of experience in related field
Maintains general level of understanding of technical product and process knowledge
Possesses a fundamental understanding of MRP (material requirements planning) tools and techniques
Performs tasks requiring moderate efficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook and MFGPro
Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Must pass background and drug testing prior to employment.
