Job description

The Production Planneris responsible for Production Planning at Hamilton GSK site. The role is responsible for full production planning and scheduling to the site's production plan for adjuvant products. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, QC, QA, Technical Services, Supply Chain, MSAT, and other functional team members to achieve production planning requirements for the site.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Production planning and scheduling to meet supply needs per site product demand plan.
  • Implementation and ownership of production planning system(s) for Hamilton site
  • Generation and management of continuous improvement projects within planning/provisioning/inventory management/data analytics areas
  • Subject matter expert for production planning and operations scheduling
  • Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with the GSK safety procedures and all applicable EHS regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practices.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associates Degree with 10+ years of direct production planning experience
  • 3+ years experience working with production planning, provisioning, materials management, master data, or manufacturing operations in regulated GMP environment
  • 3+ years experience planning/scheduling in production environment
  • 3+ years user experience with SAP

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project management certification
  • Six Sigma/Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and other regulatory requirements
  • Proficient with SAP
  • Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, and Word and the ability to learn and apply new computer programs quickly.
  • Experience clearly writing SOP documentation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and open office environment
