Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Packer to ensure the correct packaging and quality of our products. Position Available on 2nd Shift:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Overtime as needed
Pay Rate:
- 2nd Shift: $17.00/hr. + $1.25 shift differential
Responsibilities:
- Inspect all products according to company procedures within expected timelines.
- Pull and retain samples for further quality assurance testing.
- Complete legible, accurate paperwork on time.
- Communicate product nonconformities to the Operator.
- Adhere to all food safety standards and practices as set by Wiman.
- Follow production schedules according to company procedures within expected timelines.
- Ensure boxes and cores are ready for use at all times.
- Package all products according to company procedures within expected timelines.
- Maintain a safe and clean production area.
- Properly dispose of scrap and trash in designated containers.
- Attend meetings as required.
- React to changes productively and perform other essential tasks as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic reading and mathematics skills; ability to read a tape measure.
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with keyboard, mouse, and basic functions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
- Able to perform repetitive job functions, including hand mobility, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
