Title: PRODUCTION OPERATOR (Onsite)
Location: 16646 Old Nome Rd. China TX USA 77613
Duration: 6-12 months
Timings: 8 AM-5 PM, M-F
Pay rate: $19.68/hr. on w2, without benefits
SUMMARY:
- The position of Production Operator includes multiple tasks that ultimately provide Good Manufacturing Practices and on time delivery to the customer.
- The individual must be able to communicate production status, communicate problems to proper personnel and understand how it affects other aspects of the operation.
- Comply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations.
- This includes participating in all safety related activities such as safety talks, behavioral based safety observations, audits, etc.
- Follows standard operating procedures for all assigned tasks.
- Monitor machine parameters and resolve processing problems. Performs all standard QC tests as required.
- Operates all equipment/processes with little supervision.
- Generates customer certifications as required.
- Performs accurate data entry as required.
- Performs equipment maintenance tasks (PMS, Troubleshoot, repair, etc.), where applicable.
- Maintains accurate production documentation as required.
- Maintain a clean work environment including the silo pad and blender areas ensuring that there are no pellets or debris on the floor or machines and all tools and equipment are in the proper location and storage units.
- Stand on feet up to 12 hours
- Ability to perform: walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting a minimum 55 lbs.
- Willing and able to comply with respiratory fit testing
- Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include: heat, cold, dust, strong odors, and loud noises with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights of 300ft or more and work in confined spaces
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including long pants, long sleeves, steel-toed boots, gloves, hard hat, safety goggles, earplugs, and a respirator are required to be worn
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
