We are seeking a Production Operator to help us continue our successful trend in the global cheese and nutrition markets through quality of product and food safety at our Tracy, California production facility. We have a competitive starting rate of pay for this role at$26.48 per hour.We Ask Of You To:The position requires the incumbent to feed and load cheese, fold bags, rework and re-dice, handpack cheese and perform general housekeeping dutiesThe incumbent must be able to verbally communicate with their co-workers and promote good teamworkMust display recognition of quality control problems such as frozen/soft cheese, extraneous, and proper blend considerationsPerform duties in a safe manner using Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)Maintain clean work area according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety policiesMonitor cheese quality during packagingProduct sort visually and using a metal detection systemRecord keepingHand palletize productOperate Pallet Jacks: Manual and MotorizedAll other duties and responsibilities as assignedYou Have (Minimum Qualifications):Must be able to meet shift/schedule requirementsMust be willing to work necessary Overtime as neededMust be at least 18 years oldMust be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English languageMust be able to perform essential job functions of position with or without reasonable accommodationA career with Leprino Foods means you'll be part of a worldwide family of individuals dedicated to producing high-quality products that help feed and nourish families around the world.
