Job Summary/Overview:
- Production Operators will oversee the operation of a semiconductor tester testing customer devices. Operation involves manually moving devices into test sockets, selecting a few settings to start the test, and then removing devices when testing is completed. Operators will typically work on their own during a shift but may be asked to assist test engineers who may be local or remote. Assistance may consist of applying certain test settings, using software and/or hardware tools to collect information for other engineers, or collecting/delivering test devices. Production is expected to run 24/7 so each engineer will relieve and be relieved by other Production Operators. Training will be provided.
Specific Job Duties:
- Perform test Setup, testing, and support troubleshooting of semiconductor test interfaces.
- Support other test engineers working locally or remotely by probing signals with an oscilloscope or DMM.
- Move semiconductor devices by hand into test sockets.
- Send reports and/or updates to engineers as needed.
- Coordinate pick-up and drop-off of devices with local labs.
- Support our test inventory warehouse by performing inventory counts and check-in/out tasks.
- Organize/package devices that have finished testing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills
- Good hand/eye coordination for placing devices in sockets.
- Procedures and Training will be provided.
