As a leading player in the commercial tire industry, Pomp's is actively on the hunt for a Manufacturing Tire Mounter to join our tire-rific team! This is a fast paced, line production style position whereby accuracy and consistency are key in successfully meeting daily production targets on both off-the-road tires and wheels. Job Responsibilities:
- Mount single, three, and five piece wheel and off-the-road tires
- Ability to read and understand customer drawings
- Preassembly of wheels and organization or wheels and tires for mounter
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Basic tire and tire mounting knowledge helpful
- Positive attitude, self-motivated
- Reading comprehension skills
- Productive in a team atmosphere
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move quickly with unrestricted mobility
- Able to lift up to 100lbs unrestricted with frequent lifts of 30-50lbs
- Frequent grasping with hands, bending/standing, pushing and pulling of off-the-road tires
- Availability to work overtime when required
