ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Recommend engineering process improvements and layouts, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production.
2.Maintains coordination and communication with different company groups (labor management, operational excellence, and industrial engineering.
3.Applying engineering tools and principles, develop, install, and maintain equitable productivity standards. Work includes development of standards data, reconciliation reports, and the use of work-sampling techniques to resolve questions of operator utilization or performance.
4.Setting objectives and reviewing shift's performance versus objectives.
5.Enhance and develop engineering control to automate sanitation process.
6.Ensuring sanitation meets USDA standards.
7.Coordinating production and sanitation maintenance and engineering to meet daily needs.
8.Reduce the amount GHG emissions and carbon dioxide usage.
9.Analyzing equipment on a daily basis and reviewing with maintenance superintendent.
10.Develop efficient production plans as per precise for plant production requirements and ensure delivery as scheduled.
11.Reviews product mix analyses to determine production and labor needs, volume potential and process capacity.
12.Monitoring production engineering operations to meet company policies, quality specifications, USDA and OSHA standards.
13.Conducting plant inspections to eliminate hazardous conditions.
14.Managing all aspects of production engineering operations to assure a safe working environment.
15.Other duties as required by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
· Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Manangement, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or realted engineering field.
· Minimum of 3 years experience as Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer.
· Ability to work across functions and build a team relationship within the company.
· Thorough understanding of Process Quality techniques and lean Six Sigma (or training will be provided).
· Very good analytical and financial skills
· Excellent managerial and leadership skills
· Very good project management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and statistical analysis software applications
