About the Role:
Responsible for Responsible for leading and supporting production teams in achieving their daily production goals while helping drive continuous improvement efforts. This role ensures the necessary people resources are in place, tasks are appropriately delegated, and production targets are being met. Key functions of this role include the physical movement of supplies to production lines, coordination with the warehouse on product shipping and delivery changes, coordination with label room, and document product reclassification or scrap.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Run daily production meetings to review the production schedule, safety, and communicate other important key messages.
- Manage daily production board and delegate work to Mixing and Filling Operators to meet daily production goals.
- Review, validate, and sign-off on quality documents to ensure that all requirements are met (i.e. packaging instructions, cap torque, etc.).
- Measure and report solvent levels and inventory, including incoming shipments, to the Buyers.
- Maintain physical inventory of production materials (i.e. boxes, labels, Bill of Material supplies and Non-Bill of Material Supplies).
- Perform operator-level maintenance on manufacturing equipment (i.e. maintain filling heads, hydraulic cylinders, etc.).
- Must adhere to all standard and specialized PPE requirements and ensure that team members are adhering to all safe work practices.
- Other duties as needed.
Education / Training / Certification:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment
Preferred:
- Associates degree
- Lean certification
Skills (Technical):
Required:
- Experience running test equipment (i.e. torque, scale, measurement devices, etc.)
- Proficient using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred:
- Experience working in E1 (JD Edwards)

- Bi-lingual in Spanish, both written and verbal
- Previous experience managing a production workforce with either direct or indirect reporting responsibilities
