We are looking for a PRODUCTION LEAD that will assist the Supervisor in the direction of assigned work activities at their respective manufacturing site. As a working Lead, this position will instruct, direct, and inform employees on work to be performed; as well as continue to perform your regular job/work function and duties
Job Requirements:
- Instructs and directs work activities of employees in assigned work areas
- Keep close track of work in progress and regularly communicates with co-workers, Leads, Supervisors and Managers (as needed)
- Aids in training and works with Supervisor and directs activities of all production personnel
- Maintain a working knowledge of Company policies and procedures
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record
- Comply with all APP, Inc. safety rules, company policies, and to include code of conduct
- Assist in corrective action activities (as requested)
- Assist in Customer, Internal, NADCAP, and AS 9100 audits as required
- Report any equipment or facility defect(s) to Supervisor / Manager
- Ensure any accident or injury is promptly reported per APP’s safety policy
- Must take accountability to APP’s safety initiatives
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
- Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Take ownership of Company’s KPI’s and Cultural Beliefs
- As a working Lead B you will continue to perform your regular job/work function and duties.
- Provide job cross-training when/where necessary.
- Will aid in the explanation the use of tools, equipment and production process to new personnel
- Ensure operating efficiencies are met and flow of production remains on schedule
- Assist in corrective action activities (as requested)
- Strong organization skills, detail-oriented, and exceptional follow through.
- Must be able to effectively communicate effectively orally and in writing. This includes communication with customers, management and employees.
- Must have basic knowledge of chart and graph interpretation
- Knowledge of production equipment and work flow process
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Have the ability to assist and lead others.
- Able to understand instructions and safety procedures.
- Must have good attendance and no verbal/written warning within past year.
