Work environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The work environment may be noisy, dusty, slippery, hot or cold, depending on the particular product and manufacturing processes being carried out. Workers are required to regularly wash their hands with anti-bacterial soap and sanitizer, wear protective clothing including hair nets, gloves, masks and overalls, which will help avoid contaminating products.
Physical demands: Frequent use of hands to finger, handle, grasp or touch objects and tools. Frequent standing, walking, climbing, squatting, stooping, crouching, twisting, bending and reaching. Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Primarily will work in cold environment of 20-40 degrees or in hot environment of 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit for extended period of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Clean production plant equipment and facility to meet food safety, customer quality and worker safety requirements.
- Daily inspection of wheel barrows.
- Keep assigned work area clean by suing broom and/or squeegee.
- Weigh and record waste accurately to tracking sheet and dispose of waste as needed.
- Move necessary supplies and equipment to designated assigned area using hand jack.
- Take pallets to waste dock as needed.
- Change sanitizer buckets every 2 hours
- Salt floor as needed.
- Maintain clean squeegee, shovel storage and other assigned equipment.
- Constantly monitor ceiling and pipes for possible condensation and wipe down accordingly.
- Report key areas of waste to Lead or person of Management.
- Must leave work area clean at the end of shift.
- Must stay within assigned work area
- Responsibilities often require overtime, and weekend hours
- Must be able to effectively communicate with team members of all job levels.
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Position Qualifications
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be able to push, pull, reach in place, bend and use proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to work independently
- Follow Company policy, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
