Role and Responsibilities:

As a Production Group Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning: Developing detailed production schedules within manufacturing constraints and available resources. Proactively solving problems, providing recovery plans, and communicating deviations to relevant parties.
  • Output: Ensuring the realization of planned output, overseeing the availability and functionality of production resources, and ensuring team members possess the necessary knowledge and training.
  • Introduction of New Products: Acquiring and disseminating relevant information on new products and production methods, facilitating the transition from pilot to volume production.
  • Support: Organizing supporting processes to meet deliverables on time, facilitating a rapid ramp-up for volume and customer support.
  • Quality: Ensuring production output meets full product specifications through effective processes and adequate training.
  • Infrastructure: Guaranteeing the availability and proper use of infrastructure for effective and efficient volume production tasks.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree preferred, with a focus on Business or Manufacturing Operations. Minimum of a high school diploma required.

  • 5+ years of experience in a challenging technical production/manufacturing environment, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in Production Management, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement Techniques.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite. Previous experience with SAP/ERP systems, including reporting, strongly preferred.
  • Background in Business Engineering preferred.

Working Environment:

This position involves working in a climate-controlled cleanroom environment with a constant temperature of 72℉. Full personal protective equipment (PPE), including gown, mask, gloves, and booties, is required. Flexibility to work the hours needed to support 1st shift and compressed work week operations, including weekends on a quarterly rotation, is essential.
