Johnson Medtech is excited to announce we are recruiting for a Production Group Lead to help ensure manufacturing goes smoothly and efficiently by closely monitoring how employees organize their workflows. The Group Lead is an integral position in our fast-paced production environment and will be working closely with our Production Supervisor. Candidates who can comprehend complex operations is important. At the end of the day, the best candidate will be able to motivate and develop the team around them and ensure the production process delivers high quality products in the most profitable manner.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Train and work in any area assigned.
• Complete all production reporting paperwork: labor sheet, corrective action sheet, quality reporting, etc.
• Select and identify Bill of Materials (BOM) parts required.
• Ensure rules & guidelines are followed, including lean manufacturing and safety principles.
• Participate in GK initiatives.
• Perform set-ups and operations for assemblers in the department, as needed.
• Set-up and run new and existing part configurations with minimal assistance.
• Understand and satisfy all quality criteria before sending to next operation.
• Know machines used for each operation.
• Target proficiency in all functions listed under Production Operator.
• Miscellaneous duties as required.

Our Requirements:

• Excellent eyesight with ability to distinguish colors.
• Read, write, and understand verbal/ written instructions.
• Interpret process specifications.
• Mechanically inclined with excellent manual dexterity.
• Good mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle diverse responsibilities, stay organized, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Computer skills – Microsoft and Oracle experience a plus
• ISO and/ or FDA experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
