Vehtek Systems (a division of Magna International) is located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Vehtek is a Class A automotive stamping and assembly facility manufacturing automotive body system components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 500,000 square foot facility with approximately 1,000 employees. Role Summary
Summary of Responsibilities
The Department Manager is accountable and responsible to support manufacturing by scheduling production to meet customer demands in a timely and cost effective manner. The Department Manager also substitutes for the shift leaders in their absence.

· Plan and schedule work flow according to previously established manufacturing sequence and lead time
· Maintain effective communication about schedules to all departments on all shifts
· Confer with department shift leaders and Leaders to determine status of assigned projects
· Follow the principles of the Magna Team Member’s Charter
