Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking candidates for the position of:
PRODUCTION CONTROL SPECIALIST
The Production Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining customer communication with regards to RFQs on stocked products, pricing, quoting, stock availability and product delivery dates. Ensure all customer products stays on schedule to ensure seamless delivery.
JOB DUTIES:
- Plan and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.
- Track material shortages and provide immediate resolution.
- Perform inventory management according to company policies.
- Assist Sales unit in coordinating and planning customer orders and deliveries.
- Address customer queries and concerns in a timely fashion.
- Evaluate Production Control activities to ensure that final product meets or exceeds customer delivery expectations.
- Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns or optimize customer service.
- Communicate with the Shipping Department to prioritize customer shipment needs.
- Monitor and maintain the process flow to ensure product can meet customer deliveries.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with ERP programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong Automotive EDI skills
- Ability to schedule with Outside Customers
