Essential Duties:
This position is assigned to the Maintenance Division and works under the general guidance and supervision of the Maintenance Control Supervisor. Responsibilities encompass a full range of administrative tasks that facilitate the maintenance work order process in support of Army ground tactical and commercial equipment
Primary Functions:
Production Control clerks review all customers work requests for compliance and accuracy IAW AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-8, and local contractual requirements. Responsible for all scheduling actions related to equipment acceptance; while ensuring respective customer delegations, approvals, and funding are in place prior to work order generation. Production Control clerks act as the primary interface between the maintenance division and its internal/external customers in support of the maintenance work order process. Clerks are required to provide updated status to customers, monitor random government audit/reviews, and coordinate work order close –out actions as required.
Production Control clerks are responsible to review all documentation for completeness and accuracy while maintaining and destroying files/records IAW Army Record & Information management Systems. This position requires experience utilizing Army maintenance STAMIS systems (currently GCSS-A) and MS Office proficient in order to generate daily maintenance production reports.
Work Conditions:
· Work is performed in an building/office that is moderately heated, lighted and ventilated
· Must possess a current state driver’s license, be able to obtain and maintain the requisite background investigation
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years’ of relevant work experience
- Army STAMIS familiarity
- MS Office proficient
