SUMMARY
This position, under the general supervision of the Operations Manager, supports the production work of SKJ. We are looking for someone with plenty of experience as a Production Bench Jeweler to provide our studio team with additional help. If you think you’re the one, please send your resume over to . QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST have at least 1 year of Production Bench experience
- Understanding of all different styles and has the skillset to create all the SKJ products
- Skilled in all basic aspects of production including:
- Cleaning castings
- Wax fabrication
- Soldering/Assembling
- Polishing
- Pearl glue
- Black rhodium application
- Attention to detail essential
- Strong problem solving skills
- Reliable at meeting deadlines
- Exemplary self-management skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Punctuality
- Professional attitude and demeanor
JOB RELATED DUTIES:
- Produce jewelry for orders according to steps taught by trainer and our production book instructions
- Maintain our high quality standards and meet due dates
- Work closely with studio team members to address problems, bottlenecks, improvements etc.
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or equipment
- Keep studio neat and clean

Note: Forklift or warehouse experience is not relevant to the role of a jeweler.
