Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing, female-founded fine jewelry company, specializing in custom engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Production Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate should have a passion for product, along with exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. These qualities are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Place and track all production orders with each manufacturer on a timely basis to ensure on time requested delivery.
- Partner with Product Development to ensure products are within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Create and maintain a time and action production calendar.
- Prepare and lead weekly production WIP status meetings.
- Monitor, maintain spreadsheets such as WIP status reports, to ensure all production orders are in adherence with the expected quality and delivery schedules.
- Manage daily overseas vendor communication related to production orders, production timelines, labeling, and packaging standards.
- Communicate any shipment delays to cross-functional partners and confirm the formal PO extension & reconfirm extended delivery dates.
- Collaborate with Product Development to check TOP samples against design specs. Ensure any quality issues identified during the mid-production inspection have been rectified and there are no outstanding quality issues for all bulk shipments.
- In partnership with Product Development, complete annual vendor score cards to identify and discuss factory execution and on time shipping performance.
- Understand Ring Concierge's quality standards and ensure factory compliance.
- Receive and coordinate sample handoff with other teams.
- Review and approve production-owned invoices.
- Monitor and guarantee the receipt of quality inspection reports for every shipment.
- Coordinate and schedule pre-shipment product testing, factory audits and on-site inspections with third-party agencies as required.
- Troubleshoot arising production issues with vendors and internal partners as needed.
- Help assist with QC of products as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must be proficient in MS Excel: data manipulation, pivot tables, v-lookup and Google Suite
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in jewelry or accessories production.
- E-commerce background is an asset.
- Experience and understanding of manufacturing, supply chain operations, and distribution is an asset.
- Energy, confidence, self-motivation.
- Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting under tight deadlines with strong project and time management skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Ring Concierge's product and brand.
- Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team.
- Eager to take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn
- Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter
Details
- Full-time role located in midtown NYC
- Hybrid work model - 4 days in-office and 1 day remote
- Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours.

- The salary range for this position is $65,000- $80,000 commensurate with experience
