Responsibilities of the Production Associate Position:

• Schedule: 9am to 6pm
• Work in a paint production environment with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
• Operate mixing agitators, weigh scales and other processing equipment as required.
• Label and maintain hazardous waste drums. Must be able to handle 55 gallon drums.
• Fill containers to prescribed weight or volume.
• Proper housekeeping of work area and process equipment in various locations throughout the facility.
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
• Report any machinery issues to maintenance and management.
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends.

Production Associate Requirements and Qualifications:

• No experience required, though we certainly welcome candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Capable of safely handling chemicals and wear all required safety equipment and protective clothing as required by law and/or company policy. This includes, but is not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators and gloves.
• Be able to read and understand written instructions for making batches of products, safety data sheets and other pertinent information necessary to perform assigned job functions.
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes frequent standing, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching.
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Shift Requirement
Must be able to work first shift, overtime and weekends as required.
