Job Summary:
The Production Assistant will receive shipments and restock orders, keep track of inventory, ship orders to customers, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.
Essential Functions:
- Organizes and restocks products in the warehouse.
- Signs for company deliveries and products.
- Operate forklift and other machinery necessary to transport heavy items in the warehouse.
- Inspects all products being shipped and received, reporting defective or damaged items.
- Keeps warehouse organized and cleaned.
- Test and configure electronics.
- Updates manager on the status of shipments and deliveries.
- Abide by company safety and hygiene regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift or move heavy products.
- Must obtain proper certification to operator forklift.
Preferred Education and Experience: Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Possesses physical strength necessary to lift heavy boxes and crates to move around the warehouse.
- Familiar with electronics
- Excellent technical aptitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and safely.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Proficient in operating computer systems.
