Must be flexible, adaptable to change and accountable regarding work demands. Parts assembly, inventory control, computer experience and laser scribing aptitude is required. Automotive interest, mechanical thinking and product packaging skills is a plus.

Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for Production Assembly, product packaging and inventory control of automotive manual transmission related parts. Job tasks will include transmission shifter upgrade changes, pre-assembly of flywheel/bell housing/small part components, assembly of hydraulic master kits/clutch packages and laser scribing.
Additional responsibilities will include receiving supplier freight deliveries, verifying count and condition of parts, re-packaging, product staging and inventory tracking. Boxing of unfinished items for delivery of vendor treatment, timely return of completed products, re-stocking of inventory and loading of carrier trucks for customer shipment. Delivery and pickup of parts between suppliers, repair center and warehouse. Consistent maintenance of an organized finished goods warehouse, onsite storage container and offsite inventory location.
Essential Responsibilities:
Parts assembly using machine/power/hand tools in preparing items for stock
Maintain the flow of incoming/outgoing freight inventory
Prepare unfinished parts for delivery to and from service vendors
Organize and move material via pallet jack, dolly, cart and company truck
Stage, monitor and track work-in-process inventory
Record data, validate and maintain proper inventory stocking levels via computer
Cross train and assist with tasks or duties as needed to support team members
Effectively communicate regarding inventory concerns
Additional Responsibilities:
Clean, organize, re-stock and maintain work areas for readiness
Appropriately dispose of recyclable scrap and waste material
Professionally interpret and follow verbal/written technical instructions
Assist with special projects as assigned by manager
Physical Expectations:
Position will require strength and stamina to complete tasks
Ability to reach over and around objects to lift, move or place materials in designated areas (includes bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulder height)
Lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently and over 50 pounds with assistance
Stand for extended periods of time
Working Conditions:
Temperature variances consistent with normal warehouse work environment and must be able to tolerate warm and cold depending on seasonal weather conditions
Safe handling of cleaning chemicals and liquid packaging foam
Use of eye and ear protection as required
Availability to occasionally work over-time to meet business needs
