Production Assembler

Midcon Cables Company (located in Joplin, MO), a leading manufacturer of electronic cable assemblies, wire harnesses and interconnect systems has immediate openings in its Production department.

Experience is a plus, but the right applicant will be trained on skills such as soldering, crimping, formboards, mold process and general manufacturing skills.

• Perform cut, strip, tin and ID processes for wire and cable.
• Apply various types of tubing to wire and cable.
• Attach pins/contacts to single wire and multiple conductor cable.
• Solders jumpers, shields and sleeves on multiple conductor wire and cables.
• Splice wires together using mechanical and solder processes. Insert filler pins in various connector types.

Must be able to read and follow detailed work instructions. Hand-intensive repetitive work.

Individuals must be organized, attentive to details and have the ability to complete tasks quickly and correctly.

The hours of work are Monday through Thursday - 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Other shift options available after 60-90 days!
