Assembly Operator

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; Full Time.
Position Summary:
The Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating equipment used in the manufacturing of products. The operator will work with other employees to effectively meet or exceed expectations for product quality and production rates.

Position Responsibilities:

• Adheres to company safety policies and programs such as Personal Protective
• Equipment, Incident/Injury Reporting, Hazard Communication and Labeling.
• Project time management.
• Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality.
• Maintains documentation and paperwork to include accurate counts of parts.
• Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions immediately.
• Ability to operate Hager and rivet machine.
• Use rivet counter.
• Must be able to fill out all required paperwork (1st PC article, WIP, 100 ready for ISN, and router)
• Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures set up Haeger and rivet machines.
• Ability to use calipers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• May help train new employees as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of assembly experience and/or training.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Detail oriented with an ability to solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
