The Production Artist is responsible for the auditing of digital assets and final creative in preparation for the production and final delivery of all advertising and marketing materials.
How you will make an impact:

• Provide quality control for all internal and external projects in preparation for external vendors.
• Implement requested content alterations to all marketing and advertising files per client feedback/instruction.
• Audit all creative designs and artwork to ensure accuracy of printing and mailing specifications.
• Review art to ensure that corporate and community brand standards are in compliance.
• Ensure all files are in compliance with postal regulations and external printing requirements.
• Create art specifications and enter in work management system for estimating.
• Finalize, review, and pre-flight final art files and templates for release to print vendors.
• Ad resizing; creating additional range of ad sizes with rebranding responsibilities.
• Versioning of web banners and other occasional web support items, which has transitioned from creative team to prepress.
• PPT templates - creating templates from existing InDesign jobs, versioning templates, converting PPT templates to Word docs.
• Asset creation - creating multiple assets for templates, EBS, general versioning.
• Asset management - Bynder and Macshare, archiving and tagging, cleanup
• Design tools development - Creative Cloud and object libraries for prepress and creative services teams
• Photo Retouching - headshots for EBS, marketing materials, and some web; sales center graphics

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $55,000/ annually.

What you will need:

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or related field with one year of practical experience preferred; or 1-3 years experience in graphics studio or prepress department.
• Ability to work within Mac environment
• Proficiency in current Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
• Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, specifically Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of printing specifications and terminology
• Knowledge of PDF and postscript files
