Job Summary:

The Product Support Specialists educate current and prospective customers about a company’s products and services. They present informative pitches and demonstrations to leads and answer any questions. They assist new and existing customers by explaining features, clarifying operating instructions, and providing troubleshooting tips. They also diagnose technical issues and assist with repair requests. They may also train or educate internal users and create training programs or materials. They work directly with customers to generate quotations and estimates to match the customer’s needs with Compressed Air Systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance for compressed air piping systems
  • Assist customers with the design of their systems
  • Create parts lists from customer supplied drawings
  • Document new sales leads and opportunities within the company CRM database.
  • Assist our expansive sales team with technical expertise where needed
  • Address customer needs/issues through phone, email, and live chat
  • Take Orders for customers via phone

· Supports and encourages the company safety program.

· Be available for after-hours support on a scheduled and rotating basis.

· May be called upon to do individual training with new members of the RapidAir Team.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Reads and understands basic blueprint reading.
  • Familiarity with Cad design.
  • Experience with customer service in a technical field preferred.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and think creatively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook necessary.
  • Professional and active listening interactive phone skills.
  • Efficient and accurate typing skills.
  • Above average customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn.

Education and Experience:

· Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. An engineering background is a plus.

· At least two years of related experience required in Technical/Engineering Sales Support.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.

· Ability to speak and communicate clearly.

· Ability to receive communication and direction clearly.
