Product Support Sales Representative (Power Systems)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for representing service, parts, hydraulics, CAT support, and CEP in a defined geographic territory with the ultimate goal of sale of these products. As part of a sales team, the PSSR shares the responsibility with other members of the team to act in a manner that ensures the continued stability and growth of all members of the team, rather than only his/her own territory, through a spirit of collaboration as well as a commitment to the same set of business values and a commonly shared mission.

KRA's (Key Responsibility Areas):

1. Identify, initiate contact with and influence potential buyers in a manner that is consistent with our mission statement and core values in order to meet or exceed territorial and corporate business goals.
2. Obtain, diagnose and respond to specific customer needs in order to enhance the quality of customer service and satisfaction and promote a mutually beneficial relationship.
3. Promote products and services to existing customer base while expanding on that base in order to obtain territorial as well as corporate business goals.
4. Initiate, complete, and submit, on an accurate and timely basis, sales related reports and documentation in order to maintain the established business systems/processes and assist the territory, region and company in achieving the business goals.
5. Provide accurate and timely input into the development, monitoring and control of the sales forecast and expenses within the assigned territory in order to meet or exceed the business goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a self-motivated, energetic, detail-minded individual with good analytical skills

Additional Requirements:

• Must work effectively with customers and staff
• Must have excellent communication skills and can work effectively on an independent basis under a sales commission structure
• 1-2 years sales experience preferred
• 2-3 years exposure to EPG, industrial and marine engine applications preferred but not mandatory
