Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for a Product Security Engineer to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position supports the integration of security and resiliency into products and services throughout the lifecycle of the product/service to meet all applicable certifications and customer requirements.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Researches, collects, interprets, tests, and analyzes technical data for system-level Product Security concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
  • Performs Product Security risk/attack analyses, and security audits of applications and application stacks of various provenances.
  • Analyzes, triages, aggregates, escalates, and reports relevant Product Security data and other information sources for attack indicators and potential security breaches.
  • Assists in coordination during incidents.
  • Correlates and performs trend analysis. Analyzes malware and attacker tactics to improve detection capabilities.
  • Prepares and presents technical reports and briefings.

Additional Position Responsibilities:
  • Supports Boeing Labs both onsite and offsite. Functions as Limited Information Systems Security Officer (LISSO) in support of these labs. The LISSO ensures, on behalf of the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), that the requirements established in the Boeing Security Manual (BSM), the System Security Plan (SSP), and Information System Profile are followed for systems approved for classified operations. The LISSO is delegated to perform ISSO responsibilities for implementing and monitoring procedures applicable to classified operations on an authorized IS.
  • Systems regularly used include eMASS, Linux (RHEL), Sun Solaris (8), Windows (3.1, 95, 98, 2000/ME, XP, Vista, 7, 10, 11), Cisco Network Switches/Routers
  • Spends 25%-50% of time in labs and the rest at a desk performing various analysis, communicating with other technical and non-technical personnel, writing reports and other tasks as assigned
  • Artifact retrieval, POA&M completion, Document reviewal, Process improvement, RMF package completion, ATO process, customer relations
  • Researches, analyzes and compiles technical data to support the integration of security and resiliency into products and services throughout the lifecycle of the product/service to meet all applicable certifications and customer requirements
  • Researches, collects, interprets, tests, and analyzes technical data for system-level Product Security concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle

In the office 3-4 days a week, virtual 1-2 days a week based on customer / position demands.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years' experience in the aerospace industry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Linux Administration, Windows Administration, RMF, CCNA, SCAP, ACAS, STIG, eMASS
  • Experience working on DOD or other classified government systems

Typical Education & Experience:
Level 2
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
Level 3
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Typical Summary Pay Range:
Level 2: $85,000- $115,000
Level 3: $104,550-$141,450
