Product Operations is responsible for the development and commercialization of an offering portfolio by improving execution and governance of strategy and process. The Product Operations team works closely with Offering Managers and cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D, manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales, marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future.

The Product Operations Analyst role is an entry level professional and early career role that supports the Product Operations Leader in successfully managing the product data, data analytics and reporting for New Product Development and Portfolio Management. They should have at least beginner skill levels across all of the below competencies and will be expected to perform primary responsibilities with support from their manager and experienced team members and become more autonomous based on demonstrated skills and abilities. This role is based in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and reports to the Director of Product Operations based in Phoenix, Arizona

Key Responsibilities

  • As Product Operations Analyst, you will provide meaningful data analytics and drive product data integrity to support the overall Honeywell New Product Development (NPD) Global Design Model (GDM), which will enable standardized and digitized processes within our business models to accelerate Organic Growth
  • Drives strong new product development (NPD) management operating systems (MOS) in partnership with the Sr. Product Operations Specialists and together with cross-functional teams ensures quality product data is entered on-time and maintained in the systems of record (Accolade, SAP, etc.)
  • Analyzes data and creates insightful, data-driven report-outs to leadership to outline where improvement is needed in order to achieve organic growth goals
  • Drives continuous improvement activities while managing the change control process for all GDMs, and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Partner with Honeywell Commercial & Product / Offering Teams to digitize business roadmaps and develop new digital and automated process solutions to accelerate Organic Growth

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 1+ years of experience in Product Management, Finance, R&D/Engineering and/or other applicable business roles in Data Analytics, with a track record of demonstrated, recognizable results
  • High-school Education or GED Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Early Career / New College Graduate with a background in Product Management, Finance, R&D/Engineering and/or other applicable in Data Analytics skills
  • Business background complemented by internship experience
  • Ability to integrate critical information and champion strategies / concept through the organization
  • Drives development of advanced technologies, principles, and processes
  • Willingness to learn and build expertise in key portfolio and data analytics tools (Accolade, Alteryx, Tableau, SAP, etc.)
  • 1+ years of experience in Product Management, Finance, R&D/Engineering and/or other applicable business roles in Data Analytics, with a track record of demonstrated, recognizable results
  • Experience in working in diverse projects across a matrix organization structure
  • Ability to structure and independently lead cross-functional data analytics projects, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the company
  • Experience with project planning, scoping, and execution in a phase-gate and/or agile environment
  • Proven experience on continuous improvement, with the ability to think creatively, to anticipate problems and opportunities, and to be an effective change agent
  • An understanding of Honeywell processes and workflows
  • Proven experience with creating and managing a strong MOS
  • Storytelling skills; delivering presentations with ease, engaging audiences
  • Proven capacity to be effective in a complex global business environment. Ability to forge solid relationships and manage across broad and geographically dispersed businesses
