AEM is looking for a highly motivated Product Marketing Intern for summer 2024. The Product Marketing Intern will be focused on customer and competitive intelligence for our key market segments and products. At AEM, we are constantly looking for ways to better understand customer needs and how best to stand out to those who need our solutions.


This is an exciting opportunity to assist the Product Marketing Director and gain hands-on experience researching and developing customer & competitive insights to differentiate AEM against our competitors. Your contributions will guide decision making and influence product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement initiatives. You will get exposure to a broad group of teams and work closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Build an understanding of the AEM product portfolio, its customers, and the market.
  • Research positioning, features, and messaging for key competitors and generate battle cards for internal teams.
  • Conduct thorough customer research to gather and analyze customer feedback and identify key insights and opportunities for improving go-to-market planning, positioning, and messaging.
  • Proactively research, recruit, and interview customers to gain deep understanding of their needs, pain points, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Sales to synthesize research, gather feedback, and communicate findings.
  • Present customer and competitor analysis findings to leadership.

Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or other related field graduating in 2025 or 2026
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize research findings and write content
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to clearly articulate impact and work cross-functionally across different teams
  • An eagerness to learn through hands-on experience and collaborative projects
  • A resourceful self-starter able to work independently supported by the guidance and direction of the Product Marketing Director

Additional Information:

· This is a remote opportunity that can be done from anywhere in the continental United States and/or Canada

· Full-time, paid summer 2024 internship

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.


This position is not eligible for benefits.


Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $16.00-19.00 USD or $18.00-$23.0 CAD per hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
