My client, Fieldpiece, is hiring a Product Manager to join the marketing team and launch the next generation of HVACR tools. You’ll take the product through the full life cycle – from customer research to ideation to GTM plans, communications, and launch. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of product and marketing experience with the engineering acumen to understand our customers, products, and opportunities for growth while also having the marketing experience to provide messaging, communication, branding, and more to successfully launch a product. You thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, and can work across the organization to get the support you need for a successful launch.

Given the highly collaborative nature of this role, you’ll need (and want) to be on-site at our Orange, CA office 3 days per week. Our people, hands-on mindset, incredible snacks, and music room and gym make coming to the office fun and productive.
What you'll do:
Conduct voice of customer (VOC) meetings, analyze beta-testing feedback, and provide data to drive decisions on product plans and identification of new opportunities.
Spend time in the field (20-30%) with sales personnel, customers, and industry conferences to stay at the forefront of market dynamics and trends.
Anticipate, monitor, and respond to competitive marketing initiatives.
Deliver on all marketing activities derived from go-to-market strategies and plans for new launches and participate in post-launch initiatives to achieve market share and revenue goals.
Represent marketing during the product development process.
Leverage customer and market data to identify new product opportunities and markets.
Contribute to segmentation, targeting, positioning, benefits, messaging, branding, and collateral to support innovation and launches.
What we need:
4+ years of progressive product marketing experience.
Proven ability to help launch new products within a device, technical, or similar industry with a customer focus.
Strong customer experience (users, vendors, sales, distributors) to gather and document requirements, feedback, and recommend opportunities.
Marketing experience to deliver marketing materials that align with the GTM strategy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Ability to independently manage projects and priorities though ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Must work well with others, inspiring trust and open communication amongst team members.
Results and proactive solution driven, the ability to overcome potential business hurdles to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Ability to travel nationally several times a month to visit with customers.

The California base annual salary range for this role is currently $100,000 - 120,000 plus bonus. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
