About the role:
WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Product Management Support Specialist to join our team. This role will support the Product Management team and systems used for Engineering and Product Management.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Product Manager in the coordination of low voltage motors and parts product launch: create/expand standard and optional materials in SAP configurator and via class; communicate with factories in Brazil, Mexico and others; fill out Product Management Template and submit claims with information for workflow completion.
- Analyze product cost, price and margin.
- Analyze product inventory and sales history.
- Research and analyze data for maintenance projects
- Communicate with Marketing in our Headquarter in Brazil to update website and in US to update printed catalog.
- Communicate with all business areas that will touch the material records.
- Communicate with manufacturing plants when needed.
- Update in-house MOD Tool when new parts are created/updated.
- Assist Sales Engineers with general requests: pull technical data, validate material data, answer questions about new processes and maintaining procedures.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education:
- High School or GED. Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Knowledge / training:
- MS Office.
- SAP preferred.
- Electrical/Mechanical Technical background.
Experience:
- 1+ years working in computer database systems.
